 2010年BTV杯 艾伦与瑞恩-戴
上一次参加排名赛还是上海大师杯，感觉象很久以前的事情。
我没有什么好抱怨的，毕竟是我自己选择不参加一些小型的比赛。在爱尔兰的家中，我比以往任何时候都要刻苦训练，我现在非常期待英锦赛的到来，等待的时间煎熬极了。
我也报名参加了PTC和EPTC的几站赛事，实话实说我并不喜欢这样的赛事，过于密集奖金和积分都不高，但是这些比赛重要性是以赛带练，因此我还是会竭尽全力。
迄今为止我在PTC和EPTC的表现并不好，比赛的环境感觉一般，尽管是在星牌的球桌上比赛，但是潮湿和温度的不稳定给比赛发挥带来一定影响，也许是因为过去几年我习惯了在好的比赛环境中比赛，但对此没有什么抱怨的，毕竟机会对每一个人都是同等的。
对我来说重要排名赛发挥好相当重要，因为排名积分更多，如果我在这些排名赛中打得不错的话，我仍然会保持种子地位。
我想，PTC的赛事对于排名高的球手实际意义不是太大，我赢了三场比赛排名却下降了两位，要是能够赢更多这样的比赛就好了。

I can’t complain too much though as there have been tournaments there for me and I have chosen not to play in them.
I have been working hard on the practice table and the wait to the UK Championship isn’t ideal, as I am not the kind of guy who likes waiting around.”
I have entered the PTC and EPTC events which I am not really a fan of but I am aware of their purpose and I will go into each one looking to do my best.
I haven’t played well in the few I have attended so far. The conditions aren’t great. Although they are played on Star tables other factors such as dampness and temperature can cause problems in regards to how the tables play. Perhaps I have been spoiled by playing in great conditions over the past few years and I can’t argue that the conditions are not the same for everyone.
The big ones for me are the proper ranking events offering big points. If I do well in them then I am sure I will be ok.
I think with the PTC the players at the top have little to gain in terms of ranking position. I have only won two or three matches and have only slipped two places. It would be nice to do well in a few of them however and there is always professional pride at stake as well.
